Philadelphia’s own Cassidy was arrested Saturday May 14th in New Jersey on a probation violation. They have also dubbed him as a suspect in a murder and two attempted murders in Philly. Cas was brought to the Bergen County Jail and waited extradition back to Philly. He was arrested without incidence and was surprised when they pulled him over.
UPDATE: Cassidy was not arrested on any other charges except probation violation with a previous charge of aggravated assault. No murder/attempted murder charges were filed. Here’s an excerpt explaining more:
“In reference to the recent inquires regarding Barry Reese (aka Cassidy), on Saturday, May 14, 2011, Reese was arrested by Hackensack Police for a probation violation for a previous aggravated assault incident in Philadelphia,” the Philadelphia Police Department’s public affairs office told XXLMag.com. “Reese was placed in probation violation status for non-reporting only. Reese is currently being held in Bergen County Prison awaiting extradition to Philadelphia. Reese is not wanted for any other crime / violation in Philadelphia.”
Ya’ll might remember Jamaica’s Junior Reid from Game‘s “One Blood” banger. Reid comes back full force with Cassidy in “I’m So Crazy”.
