Big Pun‘s family is pushing for a second time to get one of Bronx’s streets renamed in his honor. This time his sister Nicole Rodriguez wants to rename 163rd St. and Rogers Place to Big Pun Place. Here’s what Nicole had to say:
I feel I owe this to my brother. He was not only my brother, he was a father figure. He stepped in when my parents couldn’t. So I want to push for this. He deserves it. It would become a visual cemetery for everyone. My brother was cremated, so there’s nowhere to visit him. This way, his legacy will live on close to home.

Big Pun‘s wife, Eliza Rios, says she is living in a NYC shelter with Pun’s children because she hasn’t gotten paid for anything since an initial $160,000 payment when Pun passed. She says Fat Joe hasn’t paid her any publishing and she hasn’t spoken to Joe or any “industry” people and hasn’t gotten what she and Pun’s children are owed.
