Eminem rang into the house radio station that he built to chop it up with 50 Cent‘s former DJ about his upcoming 10th, 9th, 8th studio album, Naughty By Nature and MCA passing.
We’ve learned of some tragic news today in the Hip-Hop world. Adam Yauch or better known as MCA, from the Beastie Boys passed away today after many years of battling cancer at the age of 47. We here at StreetHop.com send our condolences to the Yauch and Beastie Boys families. R.I.P. Adam!
Unfortunately Adam “MCA” Yauch of the Beastie Boys was last week diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his left parotid (salivary) gland and lymph node in that area.
Luckily it has been caught in time and the tumor is in a localized area meaning it is considered treatable. However because he will require surgery and several weeks of additional radiation treatment the Beastie Boys have canceled their upcoming concert and pushed back the release of Hot Sauce Committee Part 1 until Adam is well again.
The Beatie Boys brought out a special guest while performing at Bonnaroo — Nas.
