2pac

I kind of liked what they did with “Ghetto Gospel” on Loyal To The Game, although Eminem messed up 2Pac’s vocal pitch with the remix. To his credit that was the second song Elton John ever allowed to sample one of his songs; and I don’t just mean in Hip-Hop either.

Having said that. The original posted below is one of the best songs ever.

Here’s another original recording that was later remixed for the Loyal To The Game album. Scott Storch actually murdered this one on that album, and I don’t mean in the good way either.

I’ve got a bunch of unreleased 2Pac songs to post today. The first is “Black Cotton” in it’s original unreleased form and not the shitty Eminem remix from the Loyal To The Game album he was put in charge of.

2pacsnoopThis is a previously unheard freestyled track with 2Pac and Snoop Dogg going back and forth verse for verse at the Death Row studios back in the day. A couple of sites and blogs are trying to act like they leaked this thing today, but it was already posted on 2PacBoard a couple days ago.

Imagine if these two had done an album together! If you’re not convinced by the above go dig up “2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted” and “Wanted Dead Or Alive.”

Raekwon talks about the production on one of this year’s most anticipated album, dropping September 8th.

Here is Jay-Z’s first single from Blueprint 3 featuring Rihanna and Kanye West, who also did the beat. ‘Ye doesn’t use Autotune on this one. Coincidence? Nope.

“We are, yeah I said it we are, you can call me Caesar…” – Jay-Z.

Jay-Z wasn’t allowing video cameras in the studio for this one so you’ll have to make do with a photo slideshow. He says some pretty interesting stuff too. Yes, The Game is mentioned and the possibility of a “Takeover 2″, and Jigga talks about Blueprint 3.

alfamega

The back story for this if you haven’t heard is that T.I. kicked Alfamega off of his label Grand Hustle after SmokingGun.com found evidence that ‘Mega was allegedly a former police informant.

This happened some months ago, it’s a shame that Alfamega didn’t try to clear this up while T.I. was free, but none the less now he has written a letter addressed to TIP giving his side of events and we have been sent the full thing to post.

I give props to ‘Mega for trying to mend his friendship with TIP, they seem to have been tight beyond this rap shit, but there are a couple things that I don’t get though. He says he wants to talk one on one with T.I. without the “publicists, managers, artists, bloggers and everyone else” yet he releases a public letter? Ok so maybe he needs to get his attention to make the talk happen because other people are standing in the way, ok I can let that one slide. But then he says he would never disrespect TIP and wouldn’t side with anyone else disrespecting him either and that this letter isn’t a threat, yet he finishes by saying they can “Mohammad Ali vs George Foreman” it and if he doesn’t hear back from him within a week he’s going to hit the studio and diss him.

Whatever happens I hope the two can settle it like grown men and if there really is any friendship left there hopefully it can be salvaged.

Read the letter for yourselves below and comment what you think.
