Unfortunately Adam “MCA” Yauch of the Beastie Boys was last week diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in his left parotid (salivary) gland and lymph node in that area.

Luckily it has been caught in time and the tumor is in a localized area meaning it is considered treatable. However because he will require surgery and several weeks of additional radiation treatment the Beastie Boys have canceled their upcoming concert and pushed back the release of Hot Sauce Committee Part 1 until Adam is well again.
