“I’m working. I’m not in a rush,” Ja Rule said about his upcoming album. “I’m doing good work in the community with my Life Foundation. That’s always a plus. But as far as the music side, I’m in the studio working every day. I’m about to go in the studio and work right now and finish up on the album. The album’s coming out incredible. It’s very different. I wanted to make it special. I wanted the album to be out of this world magnificent, and it’s definitely shaping up to that. I’m not in a rush. I got a new situation — my Mpire Music Group. Gotti’s got Murder Inc. We’re both still together — there’s no separation. We’re both together doing what we do, but I have my own situation and I got new artists. Like Merce Montana, Harry-O, Live, we’re definitely putting it together.”

Its funny how back in the day everyone was listen to Ja, but as soon as 50 came out, everyone was like “nah i never liked Ja Rule.” Some of my boys were like that, it was just funny how fans can just turn on a artist just because of thier image. To me rappers are artist that rap about gangsta shit coz its sells. I believe a gangsta can turn rapper, but once u makin that money you no longer live the ghetto life style. Like wat trips me out is how lil wayne ( dont get me wrong i do like some of his songs) is promotin gangsta life style when hes pretty much been rich all his life. Like everyone else Lil wayne is a fake, but he knows gangsta shit sells. N i give alot of props to those artist that dont have to rap about gangsta shit like Nelly, Kanye West, Common, bow wow, soujah boy etc. Since Pac died the meaning of hip hop died with him, The Game made a good song with “My Life” but there need to be more songs like dat to make the younger generation of kids realise wat Hip Hop is about.
