The world’s most famous man and the greatest entertainer in history, Michael Jackson, has passed away today after suffering a massive heart attack.
I am an 80’s baby and like most of you out there I grew up listening to Bad and Dangerous and then the back catalog like Thriller and Off The Wall. Before Hip-Hop became my passion, it seems like Jackson was the only musician I listened to, certainly my favorite, and even throughout my teens and now I still enjoyed his music and considered myself a fan.
Michael was 50, and rehearsing for 50 shows in the UK, perhaps even a world tour. He was working on a new album, a new body of music, and seemed to be climbing back to the top again. I was looking forward to the rumored upcoming world tour because I wanted to see him Moonwalk one last time; now he is Moonwalking in heaven.
Our deepest condolences go out to his parents, siblings, children, and friends.
REST IN PEACE.
Here are some of my personal favorite Michael Jackson songs, the first being my number 1 and then the rest unordered.
There are too many to share. His whole catalog is noteworthy and incredible. We will miss out on so much new music with Michael’s passing.
